Michał Karski is a Polish bass-baritone, born in 1996. A graduate of the Dutch National Opera Academy in the class of Hanneke de Wit, he was a member of the Opéra national du Rhin Opera Studio from 2023 to 2025.
At the Opéra national du Rhin he has appeared as Doctor Grenvil in La traviata, Mr Bellomy in The Fantasticks and the Third Robber in Les Trois Brigands, sung the title role in Brundibár, and performed in Barrie Kosky's Sweeney Todd. In 2026 he returns to Strasbourg as the Third Judge in Korngold's Das Wunder der Heliane.
In concert he has sung Zuniga in Carmen with the Strasbourg University Orchestra, appeared in L'elisir d'amore and Don Giovanni at St Paul's Cathedral in London, and made his debut at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam as Bartolo in Le nozze di Figaro with the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century.
